The Energy and Mineral Resources Minister, Alaa Batayneh unveiled government plans for the country’s first private sector renewable energy projects. H.E. announced that negotiations started with two companies;Philadelphia Solar Power Company to establish a 10 MW solar plant, and the localJordan Wind Power Company JWPC for the 117MW wind farm.
