The General Directorate of West Airports institution announced the adoption of a plan aiming to integrate renewable energy technologies at Oran International Airport. The new airport will depend on solar energy as aprimary source of energy for lighting and cooling purposes. The project implementation will take about 3 years where each square meter of solar panels is expected to generate 50 kilo-watt of electricity.
